‘As Ronan Keating once said: “Life is a rollercoaster.” In very many ways this is true. Life can go up, and it can go down, sometimes it even seems to go in a spiral. And very often it costs an inordinate amount of money and leaves you feeling sick. However, for the four boys of Shabby Rogue, life takes on a very different perspective. Life for them is more like one of those miniature trains that takes you round a safari park, pulled by a shiny green engine called debauchery, and with three jolly red carriages called drugs, severe mental impairment and bloody Wigan. You’ll often see them travelling around, playing their music, and quite often they’ll turn to you with a twisted smile and say: “Come on board the train,…the ride is smooth, the seats are plush and the sandwiches are made with the softest white bread. Come on board……” But gentle reader Do not get on the train! Do not get on the train! Not unless you want the ride of your life!!!! (NB train sometimes reaches speeds faster than walking pace – terms and conditions apply) |
